Dr. Madiha thanks His Majesty for great care and attention given to the education sector

Muscat: Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, thanked and expressed gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik for the great care and attention given to the education sector and designating 24 February each year as an official holiday for all teachers and for those associated with teaching and holding administrative positions in public and private schools in appreciation of their efforts for fulfilling the trust entrusted on them.
In her speech on the occasion of Omani Teacher’s Day, Dr. Madiha praised the efforts made by teachers and their dedication in performing their educational mission to groom students in a sound manner and prepare them to contribute towards building the comprehensive development of this dear country.
She also appreciated the congratulations extended by Her Highness the Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamad Al Busaidi, Spouse of the Sultan of Oman, to the teachers - the builders of this nation on this happy occasion, and her deep appreciation of the efforts made by the administrative bodies and all workers in the educational field.
